Yvonne Bauer
Yvonne Bauer is the publisher of the Bauer Media Group. The Hamburg-based Bauer Verlag is one of the oldest publishing houses in Germany, having been founded 140 years ago, and operates in twelve countries. Its core business is magazines, and now also digital offerings. Yvonne Bauer has been with the company since 2005 and in 2010 she followed in the footsteps of her father Heinz Bauer, who handed over the management of the company and 85% of the shares in the group to her as a limited partner. The father remains in the company as a personally liable general partner. Yvonne Bauer has three siblings – Mirja, Nicola and Saskia – who each have a five per cent share in the group. Bauer has been married to television producer Enno Koch since 2014.

led the group for decades and is the great-grandson of Andreas Ludolph Bauer, who founded a printing company in Hamburg in 1875, thus laying the foundation for one of Germany's largest publishing houses. Heinz Bauer rarely appears in public, so little is known about him as a person. In 2010, he transferred his shares in the company to his daughters and remains as a liable general partner of the company to this day.
Yvonne Bauer's sisters have held different positions in the family business, at least at times. Yvonne Bauer was apparently chosen as her father's successor. In 2015, the three sisters lost their power of attorney for the publishing house and, according to their own statements, wanted to concentrate on their private lives.
